I have too many vices to mention, so I shall balance the scales on behalf of OH! :shock: :D :shock:

Hubby would say, however, that my vice du jour is buying trees. It's not my fault - I can't turn down a good looking tree at a reasonable price. I've even started encouraging the neighbours, with success! Nothing like a bit of vicarious tree planting! It's either trees or crisps and crisps are the work of the devil, so the trees a virtuous by comparison.

Monika - can you say which month,s edition of the RHS magazine the Daphne article was in as I,ve got somebody looking for it for me but they couldn,t find it. Thanks.

Primrose, it's in the very latest one, March 2021, in a letter on page 132 ('Grafted Winter Beauty'). There is also an article about daphne in general on page 137. Hope that helps.
