Our local Tesco had "British Carrots." with a union Jack on the bag, marked "Produce of Spain. "

Oh dear! Trade descriptions - technically was a British variety grown no doubt! I hope you brought the lot as I have carrots for Xmas to harvest tomorrow, but strangely I'm low on loo roll, someone has to distract the mob - not keen on newspaper!
