Well, it worked for the Romans when the sacred geese warned of the Celtic invaders from Gaul!
Kaiser, Gretschen, Gretel and Gerda do some guard duty on the patio.

Frankly if i were an intruder, with these creatures around ai would give yiur place a wide berth, handsome as they look!

I honestly don't know. It must be somewhere in the region of 130-140, but some are given away some are sold, new ones hatch and old ones die. We'll no doubt do a census before the winter to see where we're at.
