Dry as a creamcracker here. Hope for some rain tomorrow!

Gosh, yes, me too! It's terribly dry here. I've looked at my local forecast (Middx) and there is only a 30-45% chance of rain over tomorrow and Thursday.

It's starting to cloud over here, but no rain expected until about midnight (if any!).

One of the girls on our allotment decided to water my plot last night she has already fixed me up with two coworkers who turned out to be really good both keep fit fanatics and do more work in half an hour than do all day ,last night she sent me a photo of a very large hedgehog in the poly tunnel this morning I went into the poly to find some of my tomatoes dug up I wonder what could have done it

Probably the hedgehog digging for juicy worms in the watered soil, Robo!

I'd love to have hedgehogs on the 'lottie but the resident vixen would probably have them for supper.

I'm remaining optimistic! % chance of a shower tomorrow afternoon has gone up from 23 to 70! We shall see, but welcome! I had to get some spring onions out with the big fork - never had that problem before! Strawberries are boiling themselves on the plant - but part of that is it's last year for them & exhausted anyway! Still got loads from the back shaded bed & will have to decide where to put the new bed. Suggestions welcome & varieties! Want to aim for continuous supply of early, mid & late varieties & promise I will cut the runners off to keep them separate! (Well in that spot anyway)!
