It's trying here now, but the patio isn't staying wet, it is such a small amount.

I'm happy! About 6am & getting ready for work I noted a dark cloud & kept my fingers crossed. A half hour later I got a proper shower followed by continuous drizzle until 3.30pm! Got to top up the mulch tomorrow, as who knows when it may visit again!

Had a little light rain earlier to-day, much appreciated but we do need much more. Saw these Flag Irises in a rhyne earlier when out with the dog.

Reckon you had 10 or 11 as we had 1 or 2, if that.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

We had enough overnight to wet the garden and it is forecast to be heavier between now and the weekend, the sun has just vanished behind a dark lump of Cumulous...…………….
Been gardening for over 65 years and still learning.

1.5mm here. Sticking staunchly to water underneath at planting and sowing..with hoeing the top, as "mulch". Tateys remain a little slow but most other moving along ok
