I don't know if anybody else keeps a weather station (very amateurish in my case), but here are my rain gauge readings for this year:
January 75.5mm
February 280.5mm
March 65mm
April 14.5mm
May 10.7mm
It would be interesting to compare it with rainfall in other parts of the country.

Wish it would rain some more at moment, getting fed up of hefting watering cans about the place every couple of days. Sorry I don’t have any stats to add to yours, but I’m in West Yorkshire so I’d imagine it’d be similar to yours anyway.

I plan to get a rain gauge. I should also keep a weather diary, I started this year but have been negligent, possibly because the weather has been so unvarying (if glorious in one way).

We need rain, proper rain, things just tick over with a water no matter how much we keep them damp! They need the pure stuff, not our treated stuff! Even better give me a proper thunder storm! Everything just responds better with an electric charge - I'm not included in that!

We're due some rain on Wednesday - desperately hoping that we get a decent amount. I've got another new raised bed that is earmarked for my leeks. I will put them in tomorrow evening and then they can have a good watering in on Wednesday, along with everything else.

Interesting figures, Geoff. Yes, our son in Clapham, sort of between you and us in longitude, also had more rain than here, but strangely, a daughter in Harrogate, thus much further east, had some tremendous downpours in early May when we had not a drop. Hoping for Wednesday now ......
