CALAN MAI HAPUS - HAPPY MAY DAY
The first day of May in Wales is known as Calan Mai or Calan Haf, the first day of summer, in the same way that the first of November was known as Calan Gaeaf, the first day of winter.

Beautiful pic, thank you. I planted a packet of mixed hawthorn seeds in the autumn and notice today that at least 6 have sprouted. That's my contribution to mother nature s few years down the line, hopefully.
