I was not sure whether to start this thread here or not but I decided to take my chances anyway.

I just bought a new MacBook Pro and I heard a lot about this "Garageband" app for music production. I have a passion for composing music and beats from my Computer so, I just want some advice on whether I should invest my time using this app or not?

Right now I am using Ableton and Audacity on my windows system but I am looking for some change.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi! I am not an expert on this matter so i can't help you make this decision but I have this passion for music too.

I am a Macbook user too. Could you please tell me how I can install it on my system? I am gonna try it.

My husband uses it for playing his guitar through. He makes backing tracks for himself and finds it very easy to use.

Hi - go to the Apple app store and you just click it to download. All instructions are there. Apparently it takes a little while.
