Westi, the financial consequences of a lockdown beyond three months are huge. The consequences to mortality of relaxing the lockdown earlier than is right are also huge.

Quite how we (and Italy, Spain & France) break out, I don't know.

I would not like to be in the shoes of anybody in government having to make such momentous decisions. It,s easy for us all to stand on the sidelines and criticise but the reality is that whoever was in government, there will be wrong consequences from whatever decision is made. I suppose all we can pray for is that any eventual decision will cause the least harm to the least number of people.
