I agree about the drying but this will be the top ½" or so.

Thanks for your kind comment OH, I do hope that things are well with you and your family. I do not post much these days but I do lurk and always enjoy your postings.

Best wishes

I'm back, I have now retired so hope to swing by here a bit more often. Quite busy on our plots today, but some people don't get the 2 metre rule, short of saying back off!! or use deodorant ! You find yourself stepping away from folk and they still step forward.
Anyway I think we will all be glad to have allotments for our sanity as the COVID situation really digs in. Glad to be back!!
If I am not on the plot, I am not happy.........

I'm seeing a few returnees on many of the forums I visit, I guess folk not working so they have more spare time.

Welcome back Guys!

Funnily having the same problem on the allotment with folk not understanding, (or in my neighbours case blatantly ignoring) social distancing. Apparently she thinks Corona is fabricated & when I told her to get off my plot as uninvited & to respect the distance she made out she couldn't hear me & moved closer - fortunately for her, her hubby intervened - probably because I had the fork in my hand most likely! ;) They are insane at the best of times, but now dangerously insane! I think message hit home so won't report to the committee as don't want to see stupid signs up preaching to the 100+ that do understand down there!

The experimental how far can you shout to pinpoint our social distancing was a lot more fun along our back row! Obvs after the neighbours had left & I had moaned to the others! Yep they get the same bizarre behaviour, their verdict is dementia so best be a bit kind!

Does Boris' latest entreaty mean I should not walk to the 'lottie (where I am guaranteed not merely p&q but plenty of social distancing)?
