A very Happy Birthday to you Geoff, hope you have a brilliant day.
And what a marvellous member of the Forum you are, always there with answers and that dry sense of humour, that I enjoy so much.
Happy Birthday.

Happy birthday Geoff.

Thanks for all your good wishes. We had a good night with friends round to eat delicious curries and sweets made by my wife.
I'm wondering what to buy for the garden with various tokens. Ever the optimist it will probably be a replacement Blenheim Orange apple tree though my early spray chrysants seem very reluctant to produce cuttings so I might replace those. My bulky present hasn't arrived yet as the farmer's midden is predictably rather soggy to do much with (and he is busy trying to patch up his washed out drive). Just what we needed overnight, more than ½" again.
