Ducking moves on apace. A hatch of eighteen Welsh Harlequins are now independent six-week-olds. Thirty black Cayuga eggs are in the incubator, ready to hatch on Thursday. And the latest venture is Saxony ducks, three ducks and two drakes. They will be for breeding from next spring. They are a very rare breed and, as you can see from the picture, they are BIG, even at nine weeks!

Alan they are wonderful! I expect you laugh a lot as well with their antics as even the river ones make me giggle! Love that look they give when you chat to them - eye to eye for just a blink until they spot the feed in your hand! I'm happy with the fact the wee pet shop is open & I can sit on the quay & feed the guysI I feel so popular, they have definitely missed our company - OK feeding! ;)
