I haven't been on, in fact never went near a computer for a few weeks. I had a couple of little things which all resolved but then got some bizarre virus that floored me completely. I lost a full week with very little recall of events of that time & still have a couple of lingering things like poor balance. Deffo bad timing for the allotment but out of my hands.

I went down to lottie yesterday expecting the worst but to my surprise found it ticking over despite no watering for weeks. And I got a brilliant harvest of peas & runners & some beautiful late strawberries. The sweet potato vines were quite happy with no wilt & 'tomatogeddon' again. Not even weedy, so too dry for them as well.

I'm very happy after my visit down & pleased to be back on the forum catching up. (And many thanks for those that checked up on me)!

Good to see you back Westie . These strange viruses can really knock you off course for ages but glad the allotment has survived in your absence.

No weeds! Extraordinary. They appear to grow a couple of inches every time I turn my back.

I'm sorry to hear of the issues but glad that things are resolved. (I have had weeks I wish I could entirely forget!)
