Slightly off topic as a child went with cousin to have to have jab in bottom when cousin had his you could hear a load f##t.

Thanks all, bit sore this morning, but lifted by looking in the propagator and seeing Leeks peeping through

You've reminded me Tiger, I need to get sowing with my leeks. I still have quite a few to clear and eat from last winter's crop and need to get the ground cleared. Luckily we like leek & potato soup !

I am growing Mammoth pot leeks from Robinsons, I seem to get good results with their seeds, I am growing the onions too, had great success in the past, I will also be sowing their trench celery in a month or so too.
