Just 2 or 3 inches of snow in Berkhamsted and much less when I got to Cambridge. Clear here now, it all melted during the day, just outside Cambridge.

Another crisp, sunny day up here. Two loads of washing dried in the breeze.

Nice to get something productive done this morning despite a cold I can't shake off. Planted 12 Rocket potatoes under polytunnel cloche. Only 10° in there today compared with the pleasant 18° when I was preparing the bed yesterday.

We still have frosts and looks like more snow to come, bought my seed potatoes today, Charlotte and Pink Fir Apple, in the old egg boxes to start chitting and on the window sill in the bedroom(not the most popular bit of work I've done today it would seem, but it's cool and north facing in there lol.

good luck tiger

The danger when people start to believe their own publicity is that they often fall off their own ego.

At least travelling under the guise of the Pa Snip Enterprise gives me an excuse for appearing to be on another planet
