Its been quiet on here for the last few days and I've trying to think of something to encourage some activity.
How about we have our own show, just take photographs of what you would enter if the show were 'real time' as opposed to cyber. Purely fun, no prizes (unless KG can expand this idea somehow)
Entries can be any veg,
any floral exhibit single stem, bunch or arrangement
or any craft item,
Just as you might see at a village show. As many entries as you wish, all ongoing, no closing date at present.
I will kick it off with some of the items I entered in our local show last weekend but your pictures do not have to have been entered in a real show.
LETS HAVE OUR OWN SHOW.

The danger when people start to believe their own publicity is that they often fall off their own ego.

I think we've eaten the best of a lot of stuff, there's Parsnips and carrots still in the ground and a few tatties, lots of fruit on the apple trees, but not quite ready for picking, I'll see what I can find.

Some will make nice pickled ones lol, I have planted some autumn planting sets for next year, called "Electric", never grown them before. I intend to grow some "Mammoth" onions from seed next year for a change, I used to grow them years ago.

Got to enter my pumpkins, Polar Bear & Musque de Provence - & I'm still chuffed about last years onions so you can have another look!
Fun idea Pa! I will take some pics when next down at the weekend. I couldn't attend our show this year but only had a few cherry tomatoes of any worth, if the show was this weekend I think I could have put in several entries as have quite a bit of stuff that have recovered well from the dry & hot & are now producing, hearted or swollen to a decent size.
