Since it is another scorcher out there today, and making work seem very tough, I thought this was quite appropriate.... :)

We've got the cloudiest day for ages with Met Office giving 50% chance of rain at 3 o'clock.

Maybe the title was not quite as appropriate as I first thought, then.... :)

sizzling here, despite the odd spell of cloud cover today. I am not enjoying being at work AT ALL!

I hope you got the 'promised' rain, Geoff. Cloudy here now but no sign of rain, and rather sticky and close.

Sizzling here, so appropriate for me, although I have had a nice sea breeze all day so it didn't feel so bad. I back down to lottie tomorrow, but it is saying it will be milder at 23 degrees and the breeze continuing. My phone tells me to expect light rain next Wednesday & Friday - fingers crossed! I believe that will be dead on 4 weeks without a drop, although what I had before that barely dampened the ground & possibly shouldn't be counted!

I felt two spots of rain this afternoon when it came very cloudy and then brightened up again. Or maybe a bird weed on me!

We had a bit of rain that damped the dust down, now a mix of cloud and sun, next to no wind, but with storm Chris forecast for next week, the garden will be ok I guess whilst we are away on holiday.
Been gardening for over 65 years and still learning.

We've had light rain for 10 minutes. Better than nothing I suppose. It will have washed a bit of dust off.

Dry as bone here, but some interesting birds seen both at home and at work.
There was a Greater Blue Capped Eagle with an Orange Headed Booby and three Ospreys were trailing the Booby after the Eagle went to roost.
They circled work numerous times, amazing birds.

Light rain here for about an hour this morning but now the sun is out again - I think that's it for us.
