Our plot is 120 Sq Yards (10 pole) made up of two half plots.
Full size plots are usually picure oreintation but ours is Landscape comprising a half plot each side of a concrete path making a nice wide frontage for lorry deliveries of composted manure, wood or sand supplies

The cost is £70 per annum including fresh water suppy..

As you look at the main 1st pic the plot is divided into four sections, A, B, C, D. allowing crop rotation. A is front left, B is rear left, C is rear right and D is front right

Welcome to a trip around the plot with a few pctures taken 14 June 2018

Section B is not included in rotation as it is the fruit section, is the location for the shed and home to a small wildlife pond section. Behind the shed is the rhubarb bed

Sections A, C and D also house raised beds made to varying heights.
The strawberries in ection B are all planted in a rised bed of approx 1ft height

This year section A raised beds house Japanese onion from set sown last year. Beetroot, tomatoes, garlic are also in raised beds section A.

Section C has raised beds whiich this year are home to carrots, and various curcubits

Section D raised beds also hold carrots, parsnips and another smallbed of strawberries

Taken a while to catch up this year, spent litle time up plot over winter months into early this year. this years work did not commence until mid apriland energy is limited.

Even since pictures were taken I've managed to get more planted.
Sweetcorn is now in, garlic has been dug out. Tried "Provence Wight" this year. Nice size and the aroma is strong so hopefully taste will be as well.
Got some clry to go in along with over 100 leeks that actually germinated, pass on where they will go.

It looks great Pa, looks like you've caught up very well. You are doing well to get so many crops planted when your energy is compromised.
I've given some crops a miss this year to make things a bit easier but really need to have a blitz on the weeds in the paths and borders before they go to seed.

All that represents a lot of hard work Pa, and while covering crops with fleece and netting, it does give you an extra problem with access for weeding, doesnt it, so nothings looks as simple as it seems. You deserve to have some good crops with all that effort involved.

I suppose that sometimes on the difficult days, just getting yourself organised and kitted up for the plot involves effort and energy that is a lit, tile hard to raise if yiu're feeling under the weather. You've truly done and great job and can be proud of how everything looks.

Looking good pa snip but it looks a big plot for 120 square yards ours looks roughly the same size but it works out at 352 square meters but it's hard to work out on a picture
