That's probably the best thing about us gardeners, we are never scared to look forward.....
And a very Happy Christmas to you Shallot Man and also to everyone who contributes, or even just visits once in a while.
It's Turkey for me this year, oh, and my own wonderful Brussel Sprouts...

Greetings from me too. Woke up to a rather wet Winter Solstice but always feel this is an optimistic turning point in the darkness/light equation, even if we have to wait a little while before we notice much of a difference. But don't bother to look out for me dancing round Stonehenge in my woad!

Dear Primrose, even the thought of you dancing round Stonehenge in your woad, has put a big smile on my face .....and that's not even knowing what a woad is....
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

I printed off the Sunrise/Sunset timetable just so I can track the changes day by day. I know nothing favourable happens immediately but as they say, "It's the thought that counts"! Slowly but surely !

Is it just something that's happening on MY laptop, but every time I log on now I'm confronted by two large advertising banners with photos which are a bit overwhelming when I just want to check in to read New Posts.
