There may not be a connection but seems very coincidental to me, has anybody else had a onslaught of emails that your security has been quarantining since the forums came back online.
My McAfee has been picking up, and quarantining, viral emails all day.
Viral onslaught

The danger when people start to believe their own publicity is that they often fall off their own ego.
At least travelling under the guise of the Pa Snip Enterprise gives me an excuse for appearing to be on another planet

Nothing from Mr Apple, but the thought of a hacking event did cross my mind as well Pa, but googled it & it wasn't mentioned anywhere as a corruption. (Unlike the football managers)

I've not had any trouble with email junk, more than enough phone calls mind, anybody on benefit listened to the important announcement?
I'm in two minds about football corruption. I hate sting/entrapment articles, I think it is lazy non-journalism and I would like to see them prosecuted under something like the conspiracy laws. Although they have shown themselves to be not completely honest, I think there is a massive difference between saying 'yes, I'll do x for £50,000' and asking 'if I do x will you give me £50,000?'

To clarify, I was referring to a onslaught of emails that had been quarantined because the content had been deemed to have a virus, not just junk mail.
I would assume from the replies that no one else seems to have had this problem.
Must have just been a coincidence of timing and no connection to the forum boards breakdown.
