Hi to you all, unfortunately my birthday has been cancelled we had to return home from Spain on Monday after nearly twelve hours there as our daughter passed away on Sunday Carol and myself as well as the rest of my close family are devastated she was only 39 now we have a grandson who has no mother and who's dad died when he was eight years old, writing this is bringing tears to my eyes life is so hard at times ,thank you everyone

I cannot begin to imagine how you are feeling.
I am sure many on here join me in sending you heartfelt condolences.
Times like this that remind me there is always someone in a worse position than I.
I count myself lucky.

My sympathies are with you. It is hard losing a parent, much harder losing a spouse, but losing a child is the worst thing.

Truly devastating news for you Robo. What an awful tragedy to happen to your family and especially for your grandson. You must be reeling under the implications of what it holds for the future and how you support him . My very sincere condolences.
