Here’s a question for the silly season. Do slugs & snails communicate with each other? When my carrots in a tub, high up on a bench, began to appear they were immediately attacked and my sprinkling of pellets resulted the next morning in 3 dead slugs and 2 dead snails. Since then, nothing, but no further attacks on the carrots. Did the dead ones manage to warn others before they succumbed?
