Sorry, but I find it hard to enthuse over the new look for the forum.
I found the old colour scheme far more restful on the eye; the new bright green seems very glaring.
Also, with the old layout I found it far easier to look at the topic title and the date of the most recent posting at a glance, as they were far closer together. With the new layout I find it necessary to resize the web page to just over half screen width to enjoy the same effect.
I know that sometimes change seems difficult to adapt to, particularly as one gets 'more mature in years', but I really have to agree with a previous comment about 'if it ain't broke...'.

Must admit that I find the green a bit garish. I agree with Fred.
I know it will take time to get used to it, but "if it ain't broke dont fix it" will be a comment repeated. I am sure there are many people on this Forum who would like it to have carried on the way it was. It seemed to be working okay.
For some reason I nearly clicked on the red mark at the side of each comment thinking it was information only to see it meant report it.
Also please can someone remind me how to correct my time difference. You think I would have remembered since I have been on here since 2008

Sadly, behind the scenes it was broke.

No Monika, that would seem to be the new default picture.
if you upload a new avatar picture then you'll get whatever you want, just read what size limits it says.
I can resize pictures if you post them and ask for an avatar sized copy back.

For those of you using a laptop or desktop style computer hover your mouse pointer over any Bitton you're not sure of, it should then tell you what it is.
