Yes whoops, we should be on End of Summer, because that' s definitely what is it.!!!
It's already dark outside and another one degree drop in the temperature in our lounge and the central heating will be on for a half hour boost, whether or not we're reached the usual October 1st switch on date.

probably 15-20 years ago, I did have quite a successful mushroom crop from a kit. I followed the directions to the letter (very unlike me!) and left the box in my parent's shed. We had quite a large crop of white button mushrooms. I remember they were much firmer than shop mushrooms!
