I've just found out that these are the same - as I've just thanked, by email, D.T.Brown for my perfectly packed rhubarb plants...and received a nice reply from Mr. Fothergills?

Yep
Meant to raise this subject myself then forgot all about it :D

D T Brown and Mr Fothergills are connected. Just that D T Brown are not available under that brand in shops.

Thompson and Morgan are connected with Van Meuwen

Anybody know of any others.

Suttons and Dobies are under the same roof. Suttons also sell Carters seeds as a retail brand in some discount stores (Poundstretcher etc.), although no longer in those beautiful packets that they used to be sold in, viz.:

Carters packet is a colourful reminder of a time gone by.
Thanks for adding the picture

It was only a few days ago I pointed out to Mrs Snip where Suttons used to be when their head office and grounds were at Reading

Hi Diane,
Fothergills Seeds not only own DT Brown Seeds they also own Johnson Seeds and Country Seeds in the UK and sell seeds in many other countries around the world under other brand names I suspect.
They are a truly British success story and the are not part of any faceless conglomerate entity they are still owned by the Fothergill family.
JB.

Kings Seeds and Suffolk Herbs are the same firm, and very good they are, too.
