It would appear that due to my prolonged abscence from the forum that my PM's have all been deleted and even when I logged on today I had a new message which I somehow cannot pick up.
Whoever you are could you please resubmit the PM and will try again.
Now that I have caught up with my work, due to my abscence, and the Hay season is over I may now get down to some leisure time.
I have now officially retired from all the family enterprises. (all except forestry where my grandson does the work and I stand and observe.)
Sincerely,
JB.

Well you have just made my evening, Johnboy, how nice to see you on the forum.

Regarding the PM, everyone had all of there PM's cleared, i know this doesn't help with your new one, but that is why you have nothing in your files.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

Welcome back again JB :)

So who's been deleting all the PMs? I seem to have lost some valuable past messages.

Apologies everyone. We are working hard to restore these. We had a server crash that was unrelated to the forum. When restoring from the backup, some database tables were corrupted, PMs being part of that. I'll try to update you about any developments later today.
Thanks!

Hello,

It's not good news I'm afraid. We are unable to restore your private messages. By the time we noticed the problem, all of the service provider's backups contained the corrupt data. We have addressed this now by taking our own backups and keeping all of them indefinitely.

I can only say that we are very sorry and it won't happen again.
