Happy New Year. I'm sorry I haven't been about for the last few months. Work has taken up pretty much all of my time and I've been spending at least one day a week in London doing national stuff, the PM's dementia challenge and various other things. I can't say I like getting the 6am train but that's how it's been.
Then - just as I thought I was in sight of getting back to a more normal world, I ended up in hospital on Christmas Eve and I'm waiting for a slot on the surgeon's list to find out what's what.
Hence my resolution - to get back to a more balanced lifestyle this year and my previous habit of a daily visit to the Forum. It's good to be back amongst friends.
New Year Resolution!

Dear Tigger, there would be no one more pleased to see you back on the forum than me. So i do hope your New Year Resolution happens.
Sometimes we do lose track of what is most important in life, and it normally is a health scare that puts things back into perspective.
I do hope everything goes well, and they get you sorted.
I bet everyone else will be pleased to see you back too, if not only to see you keep me in check a little.....

Now if we could only get Chantal back, it would just be like old times.

Hi Alan
I hate to say this but johnboy hasn't replied to a pm I sent him November 8th last year, I know he was making regular visits to Canada but for him not to respond after this length of time is worrying and as I have no other way of contacting him I will have to be patient.
Regards
Arnie

Good to see you back. Sounds like you,ve had a rather hectic and fraught run. Hope the surgeon can sort you out. Having your health is always the most important thing to take care of.
