A lot of black-ice out on the roads this morning, i suppose this will catch out those who are late for everything.

This is the worse time of year for me, i like to get out in the garden but by the time i get home from work it's Dark,
But at least i have found this forum,

Quite a frost here this morning as well. Everything is calm at the moment, although the clouds are building up again.
Went down the plot this morning and had a look around the site. Much of it is waterlogged, and at least 3 greenhouses are trashed.
I'm up the more sheltered end luckily :)

We seem to have been very lucky here with fairly moderate winds, quite a bit of rain but no flooding. The allotment is too wet to walk on the soil, but we did go to harvest some sprouts today, some kale and leeks.

I am having a great time, though, planning all the vegetable beds for next year (and imagining lots of veggies growing!).

Hopefully, the weather will calm down soon for everybody .....

Welcome to the forum. We all feel we're gardening in the dark sometimes... I have a friend who waves at her garden lights of an evening so that they keep coming on and she keeps on gardening!

Wet and windy down here tonight but nothing else broken yet.

We had real howler of a storm at 4.30am this morning, lightning, thunder, hailstones, heavy rain and some huge gusts of wind, a little scary for some.

I've taken today off work, as it's raining so heavily this morning. It's starting to become akward getting on the land now, it's just so waterlogged.
It's still nearly dark out there at the moment, too.

Snow and ice in two to three weeks, though.
