Selling my present home because it cannot be easily adapted for my wife, now getting around in a wheelchair. The new home which I am looking at requires work to accommodate Pam which means that I may have to put my furniture etc. into storage.Has anyone else been in this position because I am seeking advice on where to buy insurance.I have been quoted £5.50 per month for every £1000 that my goods are worth by the storage company and ideally a one-off payment is preferable.I have googled the problem and it seems that it is only specialised insurers who supply this(expensive)service.
