Hello everyone!

I have just joined your fab forum recently, after loitering for a while (I'm a bit shy). I may have added to a couple of posts but not been brave enough to introduce myself!
I have had an allotment for 14 years, and a garden for nearly 10, which I have spent the last 2 years landscaping (all my own work, and not bad for a 5'3" tall (should that be short??) lassie!)
So, hello to you all! please be gentle with me!!

Hi Retropants

Great name. I'm only 5'2 so I can empathise.

If you've trawled around you'll know we are completely barking but don't be afraid. Most of us are on medication and I have my certificate of sanity so we'll be gentle.

Just be careful of Piglet. He sometimes turns into Piglet Don and you could find yourself swimming with the fishes?

He is lovely, just don't mention chilli, hog roast or spit roasting. He's a bit sensitive after last time.
Lots of love

Lizzie

Hello Retropants, with a name like that you will fit in nicely, i think that's the best name on hear so far.
The girls will be getting excited two new playmates in as many days.
Hope you enjoy yourself, asking questions and getting answers, or even answering some questions.

Kind regards a very sensible Old Herbaceous.

It will either rain or get dark.

Hello Retropants!
I agree, great name! Great height too, zactly same as me. In fact, I'd be really interested to know just how many of us 'ladies' ( ) are on the perpendicularly challenged side, I reckon there may be something in this as I've noticed that most of the females on our site are shortish!

Hhmmnnnn - I'm only 4'11'' at full stretch.

Whatever - I've lumbered 240 grow bags into position in the week. Had to move them at least four times per bag.
