Hi Jopsy

Glad you could join us. It does help if you're mad, even slightly mad. It's better than being sane.

You'll like it on here. There's loads of advice from everyone and if you need to ask a question, go for it. Never think that you wont ask cos it seems like a stupid query, there's no such thing on here.

Do you have an allotment or grow stuff in your garden?
Lots of love

Lizzie

Tell me Jospy, do you like pork?

If you do you'll love our Piglet. According to him, he has the best snorkers to be found anywhere
Lots of love

Good evening Jopsy, the girls will be pleased they have got another playmate. If you need any answers to gardening questions i hope i will be able to help.
I don't get involved with all the joking, you can ask anyone on the forum what i am like.
It's nice to have another new member.

Kind regards a genteel Old Herbaceous.

Good seed makes a good crop.

Hello Jopsy
I'm Allan. I try to dig up answers to most serious topics, to date I have sent 406 mailings and specialise in unusual crops and growing under plastic and automatic irrigation. I have been known to upset some people but I hope only in search for truth and accuracy. I am involved in growing for sale which occupies the main activity in my life.
I don't know if you buy the magazine, we will give you much faster responses than going to there with your questions but without it we wouldn't be here.
Regards
Allan

Hi Jopsy - I'm new ,too, and can assure you won't get a warmer welcome anyone else. Yes, they are mostly mad (Old Herbaceous included) but in a loveable, harmless way
Don't worry about the questions - I've asked some pretty stupid ones but the replies have all been polite - so far!

Hi Jopsy

Welcome to the mad house. I am the wife of Piglet. See his picture to the left! That's what he looks like when he is being burped after his slop! I am only allowed on the Forum when Piglet is at work, which he is tonight, hee hee

We do have lots of fun here on the Forum. As well as gardening, we talk about cigarettes, lulu's, neighbours' large knickers, our OH's (other halves), liquid gold and other compost matter.

We are all meeting up at Malvern on 14 May (do come if you can) and we are all taking lots of nice homemade things to share and eat at the picnic of all picnics. We are also having a "plant swap". If the weather is good it will be a day to remember.

There are plenty of people to answer all your questions about gardening, no matter how silly you might think they are. Old Herbaceous will tell you how lovely his plants are doing (but he won't let you have any) - see the thread on Coriander! Apart from that I think he is a very nice man

We look forward to your postings and welcome you into our "family".

Love from Mrs P
