Odd topic name maybe, but keep reading.
Tomorrow evening my rugby club holds its biggest annual fund raising event, our Fireworks display, sadly nowhere on site we could have a bonfire. However it is the biggest show in town with thousands attending.
So since seven am I've been at the club doing some unglamorous work, receiving deliveries, first the portable toilets, next the crowd control barriers & traffic cones, then later and finally the funfair.
Which would be much more enjoyable if the filling I had in a molar on 24th Sept hadn't popped loose last night. Fortunately I've got an emergency appointment at the dentist between deliveries.
Tomorrow I'm here seven am till eleven pm, so hoping dentist does a permanent fix.
Bonfire night fundraising & teeth.

Hmm, bigger hole drilled and filling put in.
Not entirely sure he smoothed it off enough.

oh you can be sure that whenever you have any dental work done, your tongue will go exactly to any little uncomfortable spot and keep going there. It has a built-in sat nav to these rough little places. Then suddenly after a few days it settles down and you forget all about it.
Hope the bonfire is a big success.

Can empathize with the tooth thing,Peter, I had a large multi-rooted molar removed last Friday (under sedation, thank goodness). Unfortunately it's got infected so now I'm on Metronidazole for 5 days, no alcohol until 48hrs after the course is finished. It's my 60th birthday on the 7th. NOT FAIR!!!

I have now arranged to see a different dentist st the same practice on Monday.
Young chap has not, like my previous similar filling, smoothed it off, he just used the drill, plus had left a distinct lip on the front top which is trapping any meat I eat..

OH still not seeing your avatar on posts anywhere in the forum.
Got there just before 07:00 and just got home now, technical term I believe is "knackered".
My team at the gate sold a load of tickets, all went very smoothly, everything bar; cones along main road and the bar dismantled and stowed away. Got heaven knows what in the back of my Freelander, sorting that tomorrow, a hot bath running now.......
Only bad note is that numbers may have been down, need £12,000 to cover all expenses.
