Anyone got any other ideas on what to do with these please........got loads to pick and want to do something different apart from the usual (and delicious) mashed version.

Little turnips are not neeps. Neeps are swede. Turnips do not mash well — they turn to a nasty grey slime. They're better braised whole, when they're excellent. Be sure to eat them when they're nice and small and tender, for them not to be too tough and stringy.
Allotment, but little achieved.

We use raw kohl rabi in the following salad but you could easily use baby turnips instead, but they would have to be really small to retain the fresh crunchy texture and not have too strong a flavour.
Lightly cooked broad beans, thinly sliced kohl rabi,, chopped raw baby courgete, small amount of raw red onion.
Mix together with freshly chopped mint and an oil and vinaigrette dressing.
