Evening Dirt-digger, there is a little cunning in my plan, as my Mum is bound to give me a jar when she has made a batch, so i will be able to have it with cheese or hamburgers too.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

We made a jar of this last weekend, pretty much the same as the recipe in the first post. Some recipes say eat within a few weeks, others say best after three months. We have tried it after a week and it's delicious - crisp onion and cucumber. What are the onions and cucumber like after three months? Any experiences welcome.
