A word of warning to anyone who has one of these little suckers sitting on the work surface (as I have following Malvern).

Before even thinking of using it, go to http://www.worldshottestchilli.com/ec/w ... /home.html and have a read.

The bit about industrial strength apron, gloves and goggles plus a mask to enable breathing is just a bit scary.

I'm a bit nervous about even getting the seeds out to grow some next year. Having said that, why grow them if I can't eat them.

The jury's still out on this one. :?

Sounds deadly. Think I'll stick to my Hungarian Wax chillis. I may be destined to burn in Hell at a later date but don't want to have a dress rehearsal here on this planet.

Normal attire for you isn't it Chantal?

What sort of mask though?

B&Q sanders mask? :)

Full gas-mask? :D

Ex army NBC suit?

NuclearBiologicalChemical.

If you have to wear that little lot to prepare it, is it really worth eating? :?
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

Ok Chantall, lets move quickly on from those photos.

"why grow them if I can't eat them?"

That's a good point. I still have a large bag of Scotch Bonnett peppers in the freezer that I grew 2 years ago. Half of one in a curry is too much, so I can't see me ever using them all up (except maybe for getting rid of bindweed.......or patty pans!)

Well - as the proud owner of one of these from Seedling - it looks pretty. Maybe I won't eat it though.
