Putting lottie to bed for winter today and spotted a flash of red -
juicey ripe strawberry! Further hunting around and got another 4
ripe with several large ones not quite ready yet. Pretty amazing
seeing we have had a couple of frosts.

On the same topic missed my yellow strawberries - loads on but
all creamy not exactly yellow so I left them - mistake they were
ready and then too mushy when I finally had a taste. Creamy
coloured is not as enticing as the bright yellow in the picture but
maybe it was the funny weather or just that it was their first year.

Sit down before a fact as a little child, be prepared to give up every preconcieved notion, follow humbly wherever and to whatever abyss nature leads, or you shall learn nothing.
