I have been growing my sprouts in a brassica cage, of scaffolding net, they now have a few small sprouts on each plant, should I harvest them now? Will this allow them to keep providing sprouts into the winter?
If I am not on the plot, I am not happy.........

Dear Compo, i think a lot will have to do with what variety they are, as they crop at different times of the year, some early, some mid season and some late.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

I've just been foraging on my allotment and found my Romanesco is almost ready, I seem to remember last time I grew this it wasn't ready till spring?

Re sprouts - I would leave them till they are bigger.
