I planted a plum tree about 7 years ago and have had some pretty good crops but this year I got virtually none. I think I lost nearly all the flowers due to a frost early in the spring. What should I do now and next spring so I get a better crop next year? I also have only just done some gentle pruning in past years. Should I give it a heavier prune back when all of the leaves are off this Autumn/ winter?

You do not prune Victoria plum in winter, to do so runs the risk of silver leaf disease.
Prune in either early spring or mid summer removing, or supporting, any heavy clusters of fruit where branches may break under the weight
