Have just made my last pick of runner beans on the allotment, not quite my record November 4th for the last pick. I have had a huge crop of runner beans this year, chap down the road said that his were a disaster and that he had dug them up. Don't know what other people think, but i reckon Enorma take some beating.

I agree with you Essexboy. I've just nicely picked the last of our Enorma runner beans. I've tried other varieties but now stick with this one as I find it reliable, tasty and it crops so well. It sets with no problems in all weathers and even the bees "sneaking in the back door" for the nectar doesn't appear to do it any harm.
Cheers.
Happy with my lot
