From the seed of last year's yellow Tumbling Tom, I've grown two plants. One has a very loose sparse foiliage with tomatoes already developing. The other has really dense foliage and far more flowers than I can ever envisage the plant producing tomatoes from. As I only grew one tumbler last year from a garden centre purchased plant, can anybody tell me which of these two is the more "normal", or are tumbling varieties F1 and produce very different results from saved seed?
