Hi all,
I've recently moved here and have an established asparagus bed. So far there is no growth. Should I be worried yet, or could it be a late variety? I haven't grown it before, so don't really know what to expect.
Cheers, PJ

Hi PJ
I planted crowns this year and have one spear poking through the soil on about half of the crowns. Not sure if the otheres are going to do anything or whether thats it. Perhaps we need to be patient for a few more weeks

Dear P.J, i certainly wouldn't worry for a least another few weeks, especially if the soil they are growing in is on the heavy side.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.
