Been sowing seeds today and sorting out all my seed packets. Found banana shallot seeds in envelope without instructions. Cant remember when i sowed them last year. Looked in search on forum and people were saying they had sown them on "boxing day" and "in January"
HELP am i too late or is it ok if i sow them now?

Dear Seedling, i should think it will be just fine to sow them now.
Kind Regards, Old Herbaceous.

I did three sowings last year, Boxing Day, end of Jan and end of Feb....best germination was in Feb, and all caught up to be the same size (big!) in the end, so I have sown mine three days ago this year! :D

I sowed mine 2 weeks ago, they germinated quickly on the windowsill and have gone out in the greenhouse now in a little poly cloche. I sowed them about 5 or 6 seeds to a module/rootrainer and will plant the bundle out when they are ready.
