The subject header says it all really. Does the panel approve? In fact, can I use grass clippings as a mulch on other fruit and veg, e.g. tomatoes, raspberries?
Any thoughts gratefully received.

I'm using it around my courgettes and other squash; my problem is not having enough as the grass stopped growing a couple of weeks ago!

Apart from the afore mentioned cautions, don't put too much on at one go or you get an anaerobic slimy mess.about an inch on any one day should be safe, once it has dried and died you can add some more. If any trouble then stir it over or strip and start again.a bit of judgement as to how it is going.

I have used it round my blackcurrants, redcurrants, gooseberries and strawberries.I put it down on top of newspaper about 4 or 5 sheets thick which gives about a years worth of weed supression and moisture retention in one go and rots down to enrich the soil. They all seem to thrive on it.
