At the beginning of last year I got 2 plum trees on VVA1 dwarfing rootstock.
They put out no new growth last year and now are covered in blossom.
They are only 3 to 4 feet high. Plums I've grown in the past took 4 or 5 years to flower.
Does anyone have any experience of this ?

I've not tried this particular root stock but have found that the more dwarfing the root stock the earlier they seem to produce flowers.
If you get a good fruit set I would thin them out more than on a mature tree so it doesn't take too much out of the tree while it is establishing and give it a good feed of blood fish and bone or similar fertilizer now.
