This incredibly mild weather has made my Apple Tree blossom. Only on the odd branch is actual flowers but all the branch tips have that cute fluffy appearance they get in spring. I haven't even got round to tidying up & pruning, as concerned with it being mild the sap could still be rising & I might introduce disease.

Any advice on when & will I just prune as normal? Do I remove these flowers to allow the tree time to recharge itself? Will this affect next years crop?

Thanks in advance.

i think you should remove some but you need to learn how to remove before you do it . it is very important for the tree

I took a gamble & pruned & it came good in the spring & is full of little fruit so hopefully will get a good crop!
