I have some summer and autumn fruiting raspberries that could do with moving to a new bed. Any advice when the best time of the year would be do to this?
Cheers, Lynda

Personally I wouldn't bother. Better to invest in new canes but if you do want to then anytime after they have finished fruiting.
Dig up the strongest healthiest new canes and plant in your new well prepared site.
Cut down to about 9inches. Keep well watered till established.
Best of luck if you do.
Beryl.

Wait until autumn, when the leaves have died off on the canes, then you can move them without them dying from heat / water loss.
Do not put off thanking people when they have helped you, as they may not be there to thank later.

Going by when new raspberry canes are shipped I'd agree with Peter.
