Postby richard p » Sat Mar 11, 2006 3:12 pm

this weekend somerset cc recycling are giving away their compost at Somerton recycling depot, other venues the next two weekends. take your own bags cos they have run out , the 2 blokes shoveling are half way through their 2nd skip today! another due for the morning.

just filled a bath with warm compost, will sprinkle on some carrot seed and cover withclear poly and see what happens. off for another boot full when ive finished me cuppa.

gardeners are a hardy lot, or they like something free from the council, people are lined up out into the road in the snow this morning, the two blokes filling the bags look warm though.
