I know it's a sign of getting older, listening to Terry Wogan and forgetting things. I bought and grew some brandywine beefsteak tomatoes last year which were delicious. I forgot to sow them this year and didn't see my packet of seeds until it was too late. I've just found a website www.gardenreminder.com which should stop this happening in future.
Does anybody else suffer from forgetfulness in the garden?

Spooky - I forgot to sow my pakchoi too - and, despite giving some packets of gherkin seeds away, I didn't remember to sow the ones I kept for myself!

I forgot to sow leeks. We don't eat them, as my wife is allergic to all allium bar garlic, but a friend gave me a packet of seeds and the crop did quite wel last year. I hope they'll still be usable in 2007.

Interesting website, spudrax. I may join it, but I've made myself a list of things to do which I print out each year and that seems to work. Sowing leeks is now on it.
