fox thief disaster?

Came down the other morning to find a torn bag of organic compost maker, granules all over the lawn. The shed door had been left ajar and I can only imagine it was a fox. I've brushed the granules up the best I can but a lot have dissolved into the lawn. Does anybody know what effect this stuff might have on my treasured grass?!
