Strawberries fruiting!

That sounds like what i had but a 1 plant version!

They do a lot better with more good compost and moisture than you get in those strawberry pots. They look nice but the plants will be a bit starved if you have more than one. Just picked the last of mine last week the day before the snow. I'm thinking of bringing the tub into the greenhouse for the winter.

I managed to beat the various wildlife to a few but loads went mildewy. I wonder if they would have been better without the fleece with better air circulation - but then would have possibly got even less as the birds would have got more. :?

Last year I've planted two strawberry plants for first time and both plants was grown up nicely and give me about around 15 strawberry fruits as well. Let's see what happens this year.
